Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing excellent patient care and achieving positive patient results by applying nursing expertise compassionately and effectively. This role works under broad supervision and enhances professional nursing practices by managing patient care using the nursing process and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Essential Job Function
- Examines patient necessities and health conditions to provide nursing assistance in the designated department, ensuring that all patients receive suitable care promptly.
- - Examines patient details, which may encompass medical background, test outcomes, and existing health status, to devise personalized nursing strategies.
- Executes nursing protocols, including the distribution of prescribed drugs and interventions, to ensure holistic and competent patient support.
- Aligns medical records with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Examines how the patient reacts to interventions and pinpoints any supplementary actions necessary to reach specified care targets.
- Engages with a diverse care team to facilitate optimal care plan development.
- Executes any other responsibilities as designated.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
