Job Description
Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides outstanding patient care and secures positive patient outcomes by implementing nursing expertise with compassion and efficiency. Within this role, working under general supervision, the RN supports professional nursing standards by organizing patient care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary cooperation.
Responsibilities:
Assesses patient requirements and health conditions in the designated unit to guarantee each individual receives appropriate and personalized nursing attention.
Assesses patient information, such as medical backgrounds, diagnostic findings, and ongoing health status, to establish tailored nursing care strategies.
Constructs nursing methodologies, such as medication administration and treatments, to offer holistic and efficient patient care.
Confirms the accuracy and compliance of medical documentation with regulations and organizational guidelines.
Reviewing the patient's response to interventions and determining the need for additional actions to achieve the established care objectives.
Partners with an interdisciplinary care team to promote effective planning of patient care.
Executes additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred:
- 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
