Job Description
Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers superb patient care and ensures favorable patient outcomes through the compassionate and effective utilization of nursing knowledge. Operating under general oversight, this role advances professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and collaboration among different specialties.
Responsibilities:
Reviews patient needs and health conditions within the designated unit to deliver tailored nursing support and ensure that each patient receives quality care.
Examines patient information, like medical background, diagnostic results, and current health status, to design tailored nursing care plans.
Plans nursing interventions, such as medication administration and treatments, to deliver comprehensive and proficient patient assistance.
Ensures conformity of medical records with regulatory standards and company protocols.
Assessing the patient's feedback to interventions and identifying any supplementary interventions necessary to fulfill the defined care goals.
Teams up with an interdisciplinary care group to guarantee coordinated care planning.
Carries out additional assignments as given.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred:
- 1 year of clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
