Job Description
Overview:
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting while supporting a safe and efficient clinic environment. In collaboration with physicians and advanced practice providers, the Clinic RN follows established protocols and clinical processes to ensure excellent care delivery. This role also includes administrative responsibilities, such as reconciling patient records, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans to maintain accurate and complete documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews clinical procedures, protocols, and practices to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provides direct patient care; conducts comprehensive assessments, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patients' conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality care delivery and professional development.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, facilitate communication, and promote continuity of care across different healthcare settings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
