Overview:
The Pharmacy Technician Lead Certified Acute Care plays a critical role in facilitating safe, efficient, and cost-effective pharmaceutical services by performing specialized tasks. This position requires minimal supervision and involves overseeing workflows and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the pharmacy processes, which may involve preparing risky and non-risky intravenous medications as well as ensuring the distribution of medications adheres to existing regulations, or obtaining a thorough and accurate medication history using established organizational guidelines.
This document can serve as a point of reference for other pharmacy technicians.
Provides guidance and training to incoming staff members as a mentor. Implements quality control and improvement initiatives across departmental lines.
Collaborates effectively with pharmacy and non-pharmacy team members to ensure exceptional customer service.
Undertakes additional responsibilities as allocated.
