Job Description
In the Home Healthcare (HH) Continuous Care Nurse Assistant International, the NAI is responsible for analyzing patient care needs to ensure comprehensive home healthcare service provision. Tasked with routine duties under little supervision, this position entails monitoring vital signs, distributing medications, and assisting with daily living functions.
Essential Job Function:
- Coordinating the analysis of patient care requirements to guarantee specialized and premium home healthcare services.
- Ensuring meticulous documentation is a key aspect of recording processes and procedures involved in home healthcare activities.
- Providing suggestions for enhancing home healthcare services through process recommendations.
- Assists healthcare professionals with a variety of tasks in the home healthcare setting to contribute valuable support.
- Ensures the accurate recording of patient care activities through thorough documentation for compliance and future reference.
- Carries out further assignments as directed.
Education
- Required: High school graduate or equivalent and completion of a state approved Nurse Aide 1 training
Experience
- Preferred: One year experience as a nursing assistant
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Successfully complete BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire date.Current good standing with the NC Nurse Aide Registry verified through DFS - https://www.ncnar.org/verify_listings1.jspMust have reliable transportation with adequate insurance as determined by the organization.Valid NC Driver's License and current automobile insurance
