Overview:
In the position of a Registered Nurse (RN), the key responsibility is to provide exceptional patient care and ensure positive patient outcomes by applying nursing expertise with compassion and effectiveness. Under general supervision, this role enhances professional nursing standards by overseeing patient care through the nursing process and fostering collaboration among various healthcare disciplines.
Responsibilities:
Evaluates the requirements and health conditions of patients in the designated unit to provide nursing care that is individualized and meets the unique needs of each patient.
Reviews patient information, which encompasses medical histories, diagnostic outcomes, and present health conditions, to develop personalized nursing care plans.
Initiates nursing procedures, such as medication administration and therapeutic interventions, to ensure thorough and effective patient care.
Aligns medical records with regulatory standards and organizational policies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitoring the patient's reaction to treatments and recognizing any extra interventions necessary to meet defined care goals.
Participates in interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that care planning meets the needs of patients.
Completes tasks beyond regular assignments.
