Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RN), the main focus lies in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring favorable patient outcomes through the proficient application of nursing knowledge in a compassionate manner. Working under general supervision, this position aids in the promotion of professional nursing practices by organizing patient care through the nursing process and engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates the patient's needs and health conditions in the assigned unit to provide nursing care that is personalized and addresses the unique requirements of each patient.
- Assesses patient information, which includes medical records, diagnostic data, and prevailing condition, to establish personalized nursing care plans.
- Organizes nursing protocols, such as providing medication and therapies, to offer holistic and impactful patient assistance.
- Confirms the accuracy of medical records to uphold compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Evaluating how patients respond to treatments and identifying any additional interventions needed to meet defined care goals.
- Collaborates with a variety of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care plans.
Education:
- Required: Associate degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse.
- Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
