Job Description
Overview:
In the role of the RN Per Diem, the key responsibility is to provide top-notch patient care and employ nursing knowledge to secure effective medical care and positive patient outcomes on an as-needed basis. With supervision, this position entails collaboration with the healthcare team and seeking guidance from senior medical professionals to tackle difficult situations and ensure optimal patient care during designated daily shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in carrying out patient assessments, examinations, and interventions to facilitate in holistic and patient-centered care on a day-to-day basis.
- Supports the evaluation of patient data to steer medical decisions, intervention proposals, and steps taken.
- Contributes to the application of prescribed medical interventions and treatments to ensure adherence to protocols and improve patient safety.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote communication and harmonize care efforts for improved patient results.
- Seeks counsel and recommendations from experienced medical experts regarding intricate patient scenarios and difficult healthcare conditions to guarantee top-notch patient treatment.
- Undertakes further duties as designated.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
