Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through the compassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge. Working under general supervision, this role promotes professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Examines the health conditions and care requirements of patients within the assigned unit to provide nursing support that is personalized and designed to meet their specific medical needs.
Scrutinizes patient details, such as medical history, diagnostic tests, and current state of health, to devise personalized nursing care strategies.
Carries through nursing protocols like medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive patient care.
Matches medical records with regulatory requirements to maintain accuracy and adherence to organizational guidelines.
Observes how patients react to treatments and recognizes any extra interventions required to reach specified care goals.
Engages in teamwork with various care providers to support comprehensive care planning efforts.
Performs supplemental tasks as required.
