Job Description
Overview:
The role of a Registered Nurse (RN) involves providing excellent patient care and securing favorable patient results by applying nursing expertise in a caring and effective manner. Operating with overall guidance, this position advances the standards of professional nursing by organizing patient care using the nursing process and teamwork across different disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates patient requirements and conditions in the designated unit to guarantee the delivery of personalized nursing care for every patient.
- Examines patient data such as medical background, test findings, and present state to create personalized nursing care strategies.
- Organizes nursing procedures, such as dispensing medications and treatments, to offer holistic and productive patient care.
- Evaluates patient responses to interventions and identifies any additional measures needed to achieve defined care goals.
- Collaborates with a team of diverse specialists to optimize care planning outcomes.
- Carries out additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
