LOCATION AND HOURS: Positioned in Mooresville, this role is considered full-time with a fixed schedule. It involves working on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 7 am until 4 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 am to 6 pm, and on Fridays from 7 am to 1 pm without any on-call responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Desirable experience encompasses at least one year as a provider within the realms of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or Occupational Health. Essential Job Function:
- Carries out patient physical examinations, assesses their medical records, and evaluates diagnostic findings to ensure optimal treatment for the patient.
- Performs preventive health assessments according to the patient's age, medical history, and distinct health demands in order to deliver proactive medical care.
- Offers guidance to patients and their family members on specialty medical conditions, treatments, and post-treatment care.
- The documentation of all patient care activities is crucial for maintaining precise patient records.
- Executes distinct healthcare procedures following the criteria and responsibilities defined by the department for use in inpatient and outpatient medical services.
- Enhances inpatient and outpatient specialty care through the evaluation, resolution, and analysis of clinical and systemic problems.
- Executes any other responsibilities as required.
Education
- Required: Master Degree Nursing or Master Degree Physician Assistant studies. Physician Assistant employed at Cone Health prior to October 14, 2024 with a Bachelor Degree will have the Master Degree requirement waived provided they have maintained employment and PA licensure with Board Certification.
Experience
- Required: None Preferred: 3+ years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR NC PA licenseBoard Certified within 1 year of date of hire by either the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PA's OR the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for NP's OR the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB)BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare ProviderNeonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP) Certification required for Neonatal Advanced Practice ProvidersIVC Certified within 90 days of employment for Behavorial Health Advance Practice Provider
