Job Description

Overview:

A crucial component of the RN Interventional Procedure position is the meticulous monitoring of patient care within interventional medical procedures and the application of healthcare best practices. This role serves to ensure patient safety and enhance coordinated care approaches. When met with complex challenges, the RN seeks counsel from senior leadership for guidance

Responsibilities:

  • By applying their knowledge of patient conditions and requirements, nurses deliver care in the interventional unit to make sure that each patient receives the specific and direct attention they need.
  • Assists in the implementation of interventional techniques that are in accordance with clinical guidelines and tailored to the specific needs of the patient.
  • Upholds patient care schemes and clinical results to elevate the success rates of interventional interventions.
  • Helps support medical teams to guarantee coordinated efforts and compliance with intervention protocols.
  • Compiles and scrutinizes data to steer upper-level management in strategic planning and operational implications.
  • Undertakes supplementary duties as instructed.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a critical care specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:

Required:

Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state

BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
