Job Description
Overview:
The incumbent should ensure that patients undergoing mammography procedures are provided with top-notch care following the approved workflows and procedural protocols. Additionally, the technologist is responsible for assisting in quality assurance related to MQSA, FDA, ACR accreditation.
Responsibilities:
The established protocols are followed by the performer to undertake both normal and unique tests, aiming to keep the additional imaging to a minimum and limiting the radiation dose to as low as reasonably possible. The examination productivity aligns within the expected benchmark.
Demonstrates an unwavering ability to correctly identify and document all charges associated with each study.
This person's commitment to safety is unwavering as demonstrated by their adherence to the Just Culture philosophy. They conscientiously employ the Two for Two protocol for patient identification and use effective processes to prevent lateral errors, reduce fall occurrences, and limit radiation exposure. The individual also successfully completes all required annual competencies within the designated timeframe.
By implementing AIDET, hospitals can ensure better communication and improve patient satisfaction.
Assists with patient transportation when needed.
Qualifications:
Applicants need to possess a High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification to meet the job requirements
Someone who has fulfilled the educational requirements for Radiology, Imaging, or a related profession.
EXPERIENCE:
To be hired as a diagnostic technologist, candidates must have at least one year of experience in the healthcare industry
We are looking for someone with previous experience as a mammographer in the healthcare industry to join our team. This role is ideally suited for a candidate who has worked in this field for one to two years
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
ARRT (R)(M) | MAMMOGRAPHY
Certification from either the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider for BLS is widely accepted in many healthcare settings
One must hold the necessary credentials and ensure their validity consistently.
