Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with providing exceptional patient care and securing positive patient outcomes by applying nursing knowledge with compassion and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Analyzes patient needs and health conditions in the assigned unit to provide direct and appropriate nursing care to all patients.
- Evaluates patient information, including medical background, test results, and current state, to formulate tailored nursing care plans.
- Provides nursing procedures, such as medication administering and treatments to supply all-encompassing and efficient patient care.
- Verifies the correctness and adherence to regulations in medical documents through a thorough reconciliation process.
- Observing how patients respond to treatments and determining additional interventions needed to accomplish defined care goals.
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team to guarantee effective care planning.
- Carries out additional tasks as instructed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred:
1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
