The Registered Nurse RN Float role entails providing flexible nursing coverage across a variety of units and departments as required. By operating with adaptability, individuals in this position work collaboratively with different healthcare teams to offer comprehensive patient care, enabling smooth transitions and ensuring high standards of quality across diverse clinical settings.
Responsibilities:
Flawlessly moves between different units and departments in nursing, providing all-encompassing care and assistance for a variety of medical needs.
Collaborates with diverse teams, doctors, and supportive employees to deliver care that focuses on the patient and fosters clear communication among different departments.
Undertakes thorough evaluations of patient's health conditions and requirements, tailoring care plans based on individual diagnoses and medical backgrounds.
Offers immediate nursing care and aid during emergencies and critical situations to help stabilize patients swiftly.
Facilitates patient placements, admissions, and transfers by leveraging knowledge of bed management and capacity utilization to maximize the efficiency of patient movement in the medical setting.
Completes assigned tasks beyond regular duties.

If working in a critical care area, ACLS-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider is required.
