Job Description
Overview:
The RN Per Diem role involves delivering excellent patient care and utilizing nursing expertise to promote successful medical treatment and favorable patient results when working on an as-needed basis. This position operates with supervision and cooperates with the healthcare staff, consulting experienced medical personnel for advice in handling difficult situations to guarantee top-notch patient care during specific daily schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates in executing patient screenings, physical assessments, and therapies to enhance comprehensive and individualized patient healthcare routinely.
- Assisting in the examination of patient information for informed healthcare choices, treatment strategies, and actions.
- Supports the implementation of recommended medical interventions and treatments to ensure adherence to protocols and safeguard patient well-being.
- Supports the interdisciplinary healthcare team in improving patient outcomes through enhanced communication and coordinated care efforts.
- Seeks insights and suggestions from experienced medical professionals on complex patient cases and challenging healthcare scenarios to enhance patient care standards.
- Carries out additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state;
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
