Overview:
In the role of RN Float System Wide, the primary responsibility involves facilitating the organization of patient care for individuals of varying age ranges. Under supervision, this position aids in documenting patient details using the admission database and conducting consistent assessments. The capability to attend to patients in diverse departments as required is a key aspect of this role, along with the necessity of transportation to commute between hospital campuses.
Responsibilities:
Assists in the assessment of patient needs and contributes to the development of specific care plans to ensure patients receive the most suitable medical assistance and social work services within the assigned domain.
Extends social work assistance to patients and their families, supplying counseling and support to ensure they receive the emotional and social care required to navigate their medical situations.
Keeps records of patient care and upholds precise medical documentation to ensure the accuracy and thoroughness of medical records.
Supports the assigned department and healthcare professionals when necessary to secure comprehensive and efficient coverage for all members of the healthcare team.
Provides guidance on healthcare resources and choices to enable patients and their families to access the information essential for making informed decisions about their healthcare and utilizing the available healthcare options effectively.
Executes tasks beyond assigned roles.

3 years as a Registered Nurse with 2 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Drivers license and Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state, Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) through American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
