Job Description
Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through the compassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge. Working under general supervision, this role promotes professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes patient needs and health conditions on the designated floor to render precise nursing care interventions that address the unique concerns of each patient effectively.
- Evaluates patient information, such as medical records, diagnostic evaluations, and current health status, to devise unique nursing care plans.
- Performs nursing tasks, such as providing medications and treatments, to ensure complete and efficient patient care.
- Observing patient reactions to interventions and pinpointing any supplementary interventions required to accomplish predetermined care goals. Engaging with various healthcare professionals to secure effective care planning.
- Executes supplementary duties as outlined.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
