Job Description
The RN Per Diem plays a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients on an as-needed basis. Utilizing their nursing knowledge and skills, this role collaborates closely with the healthcare team and seeks guidance from senior medical staff to address challenging situations and provide the best possible care for patients during their designated shifts.
Contributes to the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered care by assisting healthcare professionals in various aspects of patient assessment, examination, and treatment.
The analysis of patient information is a crucial step in making well-informed decisions regarding their care.
Assists in implementing recommended medical interventions and treatments with a focus on strict protocol adherence and the safety of patients.
Helps members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to communicate and coordinate care, leading to better patient outcomes.
Consulting with experienced healthcare practitioners for advice and input when grappling with intricate patient cases and challenging healthcare settings, with the objective of delivering outstanding care to patients.
Carries through with extra tasks as instructed.
EDUCATION:
Through an Associate's Degree in Nursing program, you will gain the knowledge and competencies necessary to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the healthcare community
A Bachelor's degree in nursing is a respected credential that demonstrates an individual's dedication and commitment to the nursing profession
EXPERIENCE:
Candidates who meet the qualifications for this position will have at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, as well as a year of experience in a specific clinical specialization recognized by ANCC or other relevant nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Candidates must have a current Registered Nurse license from North Carolina or a Compact state and be certified in BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider to apply for this opening
