Job Description
Overview:
The Environmental Service Technician's job is to clean and sanitize various areas within the hospital to meet the facility's service standards. With close supervision, their responsibilities also include adhering to regulatory agencies' infection prevention and environmental standards to prevent the spread of illnesses.
Responsibilities:
The necessary paperwork was filled out meticulously as the cleaning tasks were carried out.
Keeps the supervisor in the loop by effectively communicating the ongoing tasks and addressing any pressing or challenging matters.
The assistant plays an important role in overseeing the inventory levels to ensure a balance between the department's supply requirements and financial objectives.
To guarantee efficient department operations, it is essential to keep the equipment and storage areas clean and working properly.
To keep up with the high standards of cleanliness for guests and patients, the personnel promptly attends to and eliminates any unsightly stains on carpeting that may occur.
Provides guidance in choosing appropriate cleaning agents and equipment that ensure protection against harm and promote effective cleaning to minimize the possibility of disease.
Executes additional tasks as directed.
