The role of an RN Electrophysiology Technician involves delivering specialized nursing services in the electrophysiology laboratory. Responsibilities:
Evaluates the medical background and present status of individuals in readiness for electrophysiology interventions.
Specialized apparatus is readied and patients are supervised throughout processes to guarantee safety and ideal results.
Assists in the delivery of medications and keeps precise records of patients' reactions and procedural specifics.
Works together with the healthcare team, such as doctors and technicians, to ensure procedures run smoothly and effectively.
Offers patient instruction and assistance prior to, during, and following electrophysiology interventions.
Complying with the criteria of a professional development program, participating in continuous learning, and guiding colleagues to facilitate their professional progress are essential steps in staying current with industry innovations, ultimately enhancing patient care and specialized knowledge.

Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
RCIS for Cath Lab, RCES or IBHRE for EP, CCRN or RCIS for holding room
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
