Overview:
The Advanced Practice Provider Psychiatry Care is dedicated to delivering specialized mental health care to patients under the supervision of a psychiatrist or a team of psychiatrists. Responsibilities of the APP include evaluating patients, analyzing diagnostic findings, as well as formulating and executing customized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's requirements in conjunction with various medical experts. This position demands a significant level of clinical proficiency and adeptness in dealing with individuals with intricate mental health conditions. Psychiatry Care encompasses Inpatient and Outpatient APPs functioning in the field of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Medicine.
Responsibilities:
Conducts physical evaluations on the patient, examines their medical background, and analyzes diagnostic findings to deliver appropriate care for the individual.
Administers preventative health evaluations considering the patient's age, medical background, and individual requirements for offering anticipatory healthcare measures.
Provides information to patients and their families regarding mental health disorders, therapy options, and aftercare procedures.
Keeps a detailed account of each patient's treatment to verify the accuracy of their medical background.
Carries out psychiatric medical interventions following the established protocols and professional responsibilities within the department.
Examines methods to enhance care for psychiatric patients through the evaluation of clinical and systemic challenges, and by engaging in problem-solving strategies.
Carries out additional responsibilities as required.
