Job Description
The responsibilities of the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) involve providing excellent patient care within a clinic environment. This role closely collaborates with physicians or APP providers to ensure the clinic operates efficiently and safely by following specific clinical procedures and adhering to established protocols. Additionally, administrative tasks are integrated into the role, requiring tasks such as cross-referencing information within various healthcare documents including patient records, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.
Essential Job Function:
- Assesses medical procedures, protocols, and routines to guarantee alignment with institutional criteria and industry regulations.
- Provides direct patient care; conducts comprehensive assessments, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patients' conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Guides and assesses the tasks of junior employees, delivering direction, constructive criticism, and encouragement to maintain exceptional standards of care provision and personal advancement.
- Engages with interdisciplinary groups to synchronize patient care, improve communication, and ensure seamless transitions across healthcare settings.
- Executes any other responsibilities as delegated.
Education:
- Required: Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
