Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Hospital supports the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider in a hospital setting to provide high-quality patient care. Working under close supervision, this role develops and implements hospital-based care plans and prepares equipment for procedures across the organization's hospital systems.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the care team requires compiling patient history and medical information to provide detailed case documentation in hospital medical records.
Supports the creation and implementation of care schemes as directed by the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider to address the requirements of patients undergoing treatment in a hospital.
Ensures the enforcement of Cone Health standards for sterile environments by utilizing proper techniques and safety precautions.
It is crucial to effectively communicate health care instructions to patients and their families to support the successful implementation of the care plan.
Supports in responding to emergencies and safety risks by using personal protective equipment and medical precautions to minimize harm to patients.
Completes tasks beyond the regular duties.
