Job Description
Acting as a Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem involves administering top-notch patient care and leveraging nursing proficiency to secure productive medical interventions and positive patient consequences as necessary. While operating closely monitored, this position collaborates with the medical team and solicits advice from senior medical experts to navigate challenging scenarios for the enhancement of patient care on scheduled daily shifts.
Essential Job Function:
- Supports in executing patient evaluations, examinations, and interventions to advance detailed and customized patient care on a daily basis.
- Upholds the examination of patient data to steer medical selections, care protocols, and practices.
- Supports in executing recommended medical interventions and treatments to maintain strict adherence to protocols and enhance patient safety.
- Collaborates with a variety of healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes through better communication and care coordination.
- Turns to senior medical professionals for direction and advice in managing complex patient scenarios and demanding healthcare situations, prioritizing the delivery of top-quality care to patients.
- Undertakes any other assigned tasks.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
