In the capacity of a Group Exercise Instructor, the role involves aiding in the delivery of group physical fitness programs for both employees and patients. Operating within supervised parameters for regular scenarios, this position engages with attendees to lead workout classes and foster a secure and welcoming environment for exercise.
Responsibilities:
Assists in the leadership of group fitness classes to promote the betterment of participant's overall health.
Helps with instructing participants on the right way to perform exercises, understanding the body's mechanics, and adapting movements for improved safety and results.
Ensures that participants are secure when engaging with the facility's workout gear.
Modifies classes to suit the varying fitness levels of participants, ensuring that each individual is able to benefit from the content.
Sustains a clean environment in the group fitness area to preserve a good standing with patrons.
Undertakes any other assigned responsibilities.

Required:
A nationally accredited certification from a recognized organization or equivalent specialty certification such as ACE, ACSM, AEA, WaterArt, IFTA, AFAA, or Yoga Alliance
BLS/CPR certified by the American Red Cross of AHA Healthcare provder
