Overview:
The RN Expeditor is responsible for managing the efficient flow of patients, pinpointing obstacles to prompt patient treatment, and proactively identifying unfavorable patterns for assessment. This nurse plays a crucial role in enhancing the treatment of the facility's patients and ensuring they promptly access the care they need for a swift recovery. This position keeps informed about the situation through effective communication and the use of relevant technology.
Responsibilities:
Utilizes understanding of healthcare structures, available resources, and patient requirements to support individuals throughout their healthcare experience, guaranteeing they receive essential services and assistance.
Facilitates, gives importance to, coordinates, and intervenes promptly (during live situations) medical concerns, eliminates obstacles to release, and deals with interruptions in treatment; recognizes possible challenges to allow employees to rank patient care tasks and discharges and prevent possible obstructions in advance.
Collaborates with diverse teams to discover efficient methods to decrease the duration of patient stays, manage intricate discharges, conditional discharge directives, and associated concerns to guarantee patients are safely discharged.
Executes additional tasks as required.
