Overview:
The RN Per Diem is tasked with delivering exceptional patient care and utilizing their nursing expertise to ensure favorable medical outcomes on a daily, as-needed basis. Working in close collaboration with a healthcare team, this role seeks guidance from seasoned medical professionals to address complex situations and provide the best possible patient care during their designated shift.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates within the healthcare team to offer thoughtful patient evaluations, medical testing and treatments that support patient-centered care.
The evaluation of patient information in making informed decisions about medical care, strategies, and actions.
Collaborates with healthcare team members to implement recommended medical interventions and therapies, placing emphasis on strict adherence to protocols and ensuring patient safety.
Works with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes by promoting effective communication and coordinated care.
Seeking guidance and recommendations from seasoned healthcare providers on intricate patient cases and demanding healthcare scenarios to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Carries out additional tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
