Job Description
The primary duty of the Senior Software Engineer is to devise and apply strategies using pre-existing software frameworks to develop custom solutions that cater to intricate business demands. The responsibilities encompass assessing administrative and technical protocols on software platforms and span various operational spheres, including analysis, design, management, development, and IT support. Operating independently, the focal point is to ensure the harmonious operation of applications alongside business processes, enterprise data, and IT infrastructure. The position specifically lies within the Cone Cancer Center Radiation Oncology Center of Innovation. Desirable proficiencies include expertise in PHP, C#, Python, and Javascript. While there is a preference for candidates with full stack development experience, consideration will be given to both front-end and back-end developers. The role will involve a blend of remote and on-site work, with minimal physical presence required, typically less than five times annually.
Essential Job Function:
- Supervises the strategizing, development, and implementation of software frameworks and alterations to improve productivity pathways.
- Detects, assesses, and rectifies simple and complicated system challenges, sharing discoveries with peers.
- Supervises the creation of technical records and system reports for department leaders' assessment.
- Provides support and guidance to software users when responding to queries or requests.
- Establishes novel software services to fulfill business needs, enhance software platform capabilities, and optimize software performance.
- Aids team members in resolving issues related to the deployment, advancement, merging, and preservation of software solutions to fulfill business and customer demands.
- Carries out any other assigned responsibilities.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
Experience
- Required: 4 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Platform-centric Certification obtained within 6 months; 12 months will be allowed only if necessary to meet certification requirements.
