Overview:
The Application Analyst supports clinical and business applications by offering technical assistance to enhance their performance and align them with the organization's requirements. Operating with supervision, the Application Analyst aids in collecting, examining, and assessing user requirements. They also contribute to the implementation, enhancement, maintenance, and resolution of technical issues related to clinical and/or business applications.
Responsibilities:
Works together with both internal and external technical teams and end users to ensure that the applications and third-party systems align with the organization's clinical and business requirements during the system development and implementation phase.
Assists in evaluating the workflows of end-user departments, gathering data, specifying reports, and addressing technical concerns relevant to design and construction choices; encompasses both qualitative and quantitative examination of collected data and information during the process of gathering application requirements.
Supports in devising, organizing, and carrying out test scenarios for application evaluation, fresh version assessment, merging evaluation, and user approval evaluation.
It is essential to adhere to departmental standards when documenting test results, design, change control, system issues, and internal procedures.
Offers technical assistance for intricate applications, including triaging and troubleshooting. Oversees system performance to ensure data quality, efficiency, and integrity, promptly escalating any identified issues.
Gains and retains understanding of fresh technical ideas and remedies, applying them to the healthcare sector and aiding in the integration and maintenance of external systems.
Assists in the integration of applications with various cross-functional tools used within the company.
Executes additional responsibilities as delegated.

Required:
Clinical employees must maintain licensure appropriate to clinical education and training, without lapse. For Cone HealthLink (CHL) / Epic applications, must satisfactorily complete required Epic certification testing within the time frame specified in the Epic Certification commitment policy.
