Job Description

Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with providing exceptional patient care and ensuring positive patient outcomes by applying nursing knowledge with compassion and efficiency. Under general supervision, this position enhances professional nursing practice by organizing patient care through the nursing process and collaborative efforts with other disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and analyzes patient needs and medical situations in the assigned area to deliver quality nursing care suitable for every individual.
  • Assesses patient information, comprising medical history, test results, and current well-being, to devise tailored nursing care plans.
  • Executes nursing practices such as medication distribution and treatments in order to furnish thorough and efficient care for patients.
  • Aligns medical records with regulatory guidelines and internal protocols by carefully reviewing and verifying their accuracy.
  • Examining patient responses to interventions and pinpointing any extra measures necessary to achieve the established care targets.
  • Engages with various healthcare specialists to facilitate comprehensive care planning. Completes other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:

Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
