Job Description
Overview:
Registered Nurses (RNs) are responsible for administering superior patient care and guaranteeing successful patient results by effectively utilizing their nursing expertise with compassion and efficiency. This position requires working under broad supervision to uphold professional nursing standards by coordinating patient care using the nursing process and collaborative efforts among various healthcare disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates patient requirements and conditions in the designated unit to guarantee the delivery of personalized nursing care for every patient.
- Assesses patient records, which consist of medical past, diagnostic outcomes, and existing health status, in order to formulate customized nursing care programs.
- Organizes nursing procedures, such as dispensing medications and treatments, to offer holistic and productive patient care.
- Assesses how patients react to interventions and identifies any further measures necessary to achieve the set care objectives.
- Collaborates with a team of diverse specialists to optimize care planning outcomes.
- Executes any other responsibilities given.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
