Assistant Program Director for Internal Medicine Residency at Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina
Cone Health is in search of a seasoned educator for the position of Internal Medicine Residency Associate Program Director who will be tasked with guiding and supervising the internal medicine residency program. This position calls for a creative individual who is dedicated to education, outstanding clinical performance, and nurturing the growth of upcoming internal medicine specialists. The Program Director will have the duty of managing various components of the residency program, such as designing the curriculum, supervising faculty members, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards, recruiting residents, and cultivating a supportive educational atmosphere.
The chosen individual will collaborate with the Graduate Medical Education (GME) leadership and other stakeholders to guarantee the program's effectiveness and congruence with Cone Health's goal of delivering superior patient care and promoting medical education.

Responsibilities:
Provide continuous clinical services with a commitment to upholding top-notch standards of care and professionalism.
Support in managing and upkeeping a learning setting that promotes the training of residents/fellows within all the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Competency categories.
Assist in enforcing the implementation of departmental and institutional guidelines and protocols through communication with faculty, residents/fellows, and staff members.
Assist in guaranteeing adherence and collaboration with all regulatory and governing bodies, encompassing Cone Health (the Sponsoring Institution), the ACGME and the appropriate Review Committee, the North Carolina Medical Board, the Federal Government, the Office of Graduate Medical Education, GME Committee, and other necessary entities to maintain the residency/fellowship program's operations.

Must have or be eligible for NC Medical License.
Must have or be eligible for Cone Health Medical Staff credentialing.

Must maintain current certification in the specialty for which they are the APD by the appropriate ABMS or AOA specialty board.
