Job Description
In the role of EPIC Client System Administrator Intermediate, one reviews and preps the procedures to ensure the seamless running of EPIC applications, platforms, and linked systems. With moderate guidance, individuals in this position take part in the deployment, upkeep, problem-solving, surveillance, and enhancement of overarching EPIC software, including cache databases and additional Windows utilities.
Essential Job Function:
- Sets up, improves, and delivers continual help for EPIC auxiliary programs, such as Web Blob, Interconnect, Hyperspace Web, and EPS, on specified server types.
- - Deploys EPIC client pack updates on installed ancillary applications and executes server-side updates for diverse Cache environments, such as Development, Test, Train, and Production.
- Responsible for deploying and confirming the effectiveness of Linux/Windows patches on database and application servers for security and stability purposes.
- Develops protocols for handling storage tasks linked to EPIC Cache databases and Windows auxiliary programs, while also enforcing standardized and regulatory-compliant database allocation and planning.
- Maintains the efficiency of EPIC ancillary software and Epic Cache databases to guarantee the seamless functioning of network environments.
- Deploys practical backup, recovery, and resilience approaches to protect the database and maintain the confidentiality of EPIC application data.
- Sets up and enacts database specifications, security protocols, audit mechanisms, and resource allocation guidelines to guarantee conformity throughout the software and frameworks.
- Executes tasks beyond the regular scope of work.

- Required: Bachelor's Degree
