Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), the main focus lies in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring favorable patient outcomes through the proficient application of nursing knowledge in a compassionate manner. Working under general supervision, this position aids in the promotion of professional nursing practices by organizing patient care through the nursing process and engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses the patient's requirements and condition within the assigned department to ensure the delivery of nursing care that is tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual.
- Assesses patient information, which includes medical records, diagnostic data, and prevailing condition, to establish personalized nursing care plans.
- Arranges nursing methods, like administering medications and treatments, to give complete and beneficial patient care.
- Aligns medical files to ensure correctness and conformity with regulatory requirements and internal rules.
- Assessing the patient's reaction to treatments and recognizing the requirement for further interventions to achieve established care objectives.
- Engages with a multidisciplinary care group to enhance coordinated patient care.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
