Job Description
Registered Nurses (RNs) are responsible for administering top-notch patient care and securing favorable patient results by applying nursing knowledge with empathy and effectiveness. Working under broad supervision, this position advocates for professional nursing standards by orchestrating patient care through the nursing process and cooperation among various specialties.
Essential Job Function:
- Assesses patient needs and conditions to administer nursing care in a specified area, ensuring that all individuals receive the necessary and accurate support.
- Assesses patient records, which encompass medical past, diagnostic outcomes, and existing health status, in order to create tailored nursing care blueprints.
- Executes nursing protocols, including dispensing medicines and implementing therapies, to deliver thorough and successful patient healthcare.
- Ensures medical records align with regulations and internal protocols through reconciliation processes.
- Examines how the patient is responding to interventions and pinpoints any additional steps necessary to reach the established care objectives.
- Engages with an interdisciplinary group of professionals to create effective strategies for patient care.
- Executes any other responsibilities as designated.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
