Overview:
The pivotal role of a Registered Nurse (RN) centers on providing excellent patient care and securing positive patient outcomes through the proficient and compassionate utilization of nursing expertise. Responsibilities:
- Assesses patient requirements and health status in the designated unit to provide appropriate nursing interventions for each individual.
- Scrutinizes patient data, encompassing medical background, diagnostic outcomes, and existing health status, to formulate personalized nursing care programs.
- Administers nursing procedures like giving medications and therapies as part of delivering thorough and efficient patient care.
- Evaluates the response of patients to interventions and identifies any extra steps required to accomplish the defined care goals.
- Works together with a diverse healthcare team to guarantee efficient care coordination.
- Performs extra duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
