APP Per Diem Tier 3

APP Relief prioritizes providing patients with premium, cost-efficient healthcare that suits their specific needs through patient evaluations, interpretation of diagnostic findings, and the creation and execution of treatment strategies tailored to each patient. By collaborating with physician(s), this position emphasizes patient and family education on medical conditions and treatments, undertaking short-term, on-demand assignments on a per diem basis.

Essential Job Function:

• Engages in physical evaluations of individuals, examines their health background, and makes sense of the outcomes of medical tests to offer suitable therapies and care for the patient.
• Performs proactive health assessments by screening based on age, medical history, and distinctive healthcare necessities.
• Provides information to patients and their families regarding medical issues, interventions, and aftercare.
• Documentation is maintained to ensure precision in the patient's medical records.
• Carries out medical interventions as outlined by departmental standards and clinical duties.
• Determines strategies to elevate patient care through the evaluation of clinical and systemic challenges, followed by effective problem-solving.
• Carries out supplementary responsibilities as directed.

Education:

• Required: Master's degree Nursing or master's degree Physician Assistant studies. Physician Assistant employed at Cone Health prior to October 14, 2024, with a Bachelor's degree will have the Master's degree requirement waived provided they have maintained employment and PA licensure with Board Certification.

Experience:

• Required: 3+ years

Licensure/Certification/Listing:

• Required: Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR NC PA license Board Certified within 1 year of date of hire by either the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PA's OR the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for NP's OR the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB)BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP) Certification required for Neonatal Advanced Practice Providers IVC Certified within 90 days of employment for Behavioral Health Advance Practice Provider.
