Job Description
Overview:
The Senior Database Engineer oversees the enhancement and maintenance of Electronic Health Record (EHR) software applications within the company, taking responsibility for their design and analysis. With limited guidance, the Database Engineer Senior guarantees the encoding, testing, debugging, and deployment of software components to facilitate seamless and efficient access to EHR applications for users.

Responsibilities:
Monitors the performance, scalability, and security of databases, addressing any concerns to maintain their optimal functionality.
Reviews current database structure and identifies essential modifications and incorporation needs for updated designs.
Reviews proposals for architectural enhancements and new systems within the current warehouse framework to enhance performance and functionality.
Develops database applications with elements like interfaces, data transfer protocols, and data segmentation to facilitate the utilization of the standard database framework.
Assists junior professionals in nurturing a skilled and adept data engineering team.
Identifies goals and methodologies for tasks and suggests alterations to management in order to stimulate creativity, enhance procedures, and offer strategic advice.
Assesses current policies, protocols, and operational processes to gauge their efficiency, pinpoint opportunities for enhancement, and verify adherence to regulations.
Carries out additional responsibilities as required.
