Overview:
The Hospital LPN aids the Registered Nurse or healthcare practitioner in delivering excellent patient care within a hospital environment. They assist in creating and executing care plans specific to the hospital and readying necessary equipment for procedures throughout the hospital systems, all under careful supervision.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the care team involves gathering patient background and medical data to ensure comprehensive case records are maintained within hospital medical documentation.
Assists in the creation and execution of treatment plans under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or healthcare professional to fulfill the requirements of patients receiving care at a medical facility.
Guarantees that correct procedures and safety measures are followed in compliance with Cone Health guidelines for sterile settings.
Conveys healthcare guidance to patients and their families to effectively communicate information regarding the treatment regimen.
Helps in addressing urgent situations and potential safety risks by using personal protective gear and medical protocols to prevent harm to patients.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
