Job Description
Overview:
The Mechanic assists in addressing and preventing issues with building systems to rectify and forecast potential problems. Operating under careful monitoring, this position aids in reducing operational interruptions within the medical facility and offers timely service. The working hours for this role are from Monday to Friday during the 1st shift, with weekend rotation included.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in testing and fixing equipment, as well as procuring necessary replacement components to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Supporting the upkeep of a tidy and secure workspace is crucial for reducing potential hazards and preventing interruptions in operations.
- Creates paperwork for assignments, documents, and cost approximations for evaluation by supervisors following regulatory standards.
- Effectively communicates with both internal and external teams to facilitate repairs and provide accurate status updates.
- Conducts equipment check-ups to guarantee that the appropriate tools are being used, minimizing potential harm to personnel.
- Oversees the positioning, adjusting, and setting up of industrial equipment on base structures for maintenance purposes.
- Executes additional tasks as required.

Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 1 year of experience.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Required:
Valid Driver's License (if driving a Cone Health vehicle, must have 5 years of driving experience and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved by Risk Management)
