Overview:
The Rehabilitation Technician supports rehab staff by aiding in patient care tasks as instructed. With supervision, this role involves preparing treatment spaces, tools, and supplies for rehab sessions.
Responsibilities:
Aids patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed, reporting any changes in patient performance.
Assists in organizing and managing the inventory of therapy supplies and equipment to guarantee their availability during rehabilitation sessions.
Observes and documents the reactions and advancements of individuals throughout their rehabilitation sessions to allow for necessary adjustments to be implemented in their therapy plans.
Performs upkeep, organization, and clerical tasks as specified by the department to ensure the efficient functioning of equipment and workspace.
Assists in effectively engaging with patients and their families by utilizing suitable language, tone, and behavior, taking into account the individual's age, cultural background, and requirements.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
