Job Description
Within the clinic setting, the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring the well-being of patients. Under supervision, this role collaborates with physicians or APP providers to uphold a safe and effective clinic environment by following defined clinical procedures and established protocols. Administrative tasks are also part of the job, which may involve consolidating information from a variety of healthcare documents such as patient records, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.
Essential Job Function:
- Examines clinical protocols, procedures, and methodologies to uphold compliance with internal standards and legal obligations.
- Provides direct patient care; conducts comprehensive assessments, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patients' conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Oversees and critiques the work of junior professionals, furnishing instruction, input, and assistance to secure high-caliber service delivery and professional growth.
- Partners with interdisciplinary teams to align patient care, foster communication, and uphold continuity of care across diverse healthcare settings.
- Completes tasks beyond the regular scope of work.
Education:
- Required: Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
