Responsibilities:
Conducts physical evaluations on patients in a non-hospital environment, examines their medical backgrounds, and analyzes the outcomes of diagnostic exams to administer appropriate care to the patient.
Administers preventative health assessments according to the individual's age, medical background, and specific requirements to deliver proactive healthcare services.
Provides information to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and post-care instructions.
Keeps track of patient care in various primary care offices to verify the accuracy of patient records.
Administers medical treatments following the protocols and responsibilities set by the department for outpatient medical facilities.
Evaluates clinical and systemic challenges to enhance outpatient care through assessment, troubleshooting, and appraisal.
Carries out additional responsibilities as required.

Required:
Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR NC PA license
Board Certified within 1 year of date of hire by either the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PA's OR the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for NP's OR the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB)
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP) Certification required for Neonatal Advanced Practice Providers
IVC Certified within 90 days of employment for Behavorial Health Advance Practice Provider
