Overview:
Providing excellent patient care is the top priority of the RN Per Diem. Utilizing their nursing expertise, this role collaborates closely with the healthcare team and seeks guidance from experienced medical professionals to address difficult situations and ensure successful patient outcomes on a daily, as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
Assists in enhancing patient outcomes through contributing to the implementation of individualized care, including treatments, evaluations, and diagnostic tests.
Taking into account patient data is important in determining optimal medical plans, approaches, and actions.
Works with clinicians to implement prescribed medical interventions and treatments while emphasizing protocol adherence and prevention of harm to patients.
Enhances patient outcomes by facilitating communication and coordination of care among members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Consulting with veteran medical professionals when faced with complex patient situations and challenging healthcare circumstances in order to provide the highest quality care to patients.
