Overview:
The Assistant Teacher plays a critical role in meeting the academic and growth requirements of students. Working closely with the main teacher, this individual helps execute teaching schedules, offer customized teaching, and establish a caring and diverse learning setting. By cultivating a welcoming and interactive classroom ambiance, this position significantly enhances the effectiveness of the educational curriculum.
Responsibilities:
Supports the main teacher in developing and executing suitable lesson plans and activities that are in line with the curriculum and educational objectives.
Offers personalized assistance and guidance to students, catering to their specific educational requirements and fostering both academic and interpersonal growth.
Cultivates a welcoming and harmonious classroom atmosphere through encouraging students to show consideration, understanding, and teamwork towards each other.
Helps in upholding a secure and tidy classroom setting, guaranteeing adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Works together with the head teacher and colleagues to evaluate student advancement, pinpoint areas needing enhancement, and create plans to assist student development.
Regularly communicates with parents and guardians, sharing information on student development, addressing any issues, and nurturing a positive collaboration between home and school.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
