Overview:
The responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician III Certified Retail Specialty entail executing specialized tasks crucial for aiding pharmacists in supplying secure, productive, and economical services. With minimal guidance, this position manages the flow of work, inventory levels, billing procedures, and other sophisticated pharmacy activities.
Responsibilities:
Manages the reception of requests, responds to telephone inquiries, and facilitates the sale of prescriptions to support the smooth functioning of the pharmacy.
Assists pharmacy purchasing agent in inventory control and maintenance.
Functions as a resource for other pharmacy technicians requiring assistance.
Assists in mentoring and training fresh employees to enhance their grasp of the work field.
Leads the way in executing improvements in processes and enhancing departmental quality initiatives.
Completes tasks beyond designated responsibilities.
