Overview:
The Senior Construction Project Manager leads and supervises a range of capital construction and facility improvement initiatives to fulfill organizational objectives. They assist in achieving departmental targets and managing routine operational challenges resulting from both large and small construction and renovation undertakings within the health system
Responsibilities:
Executes duties and obligations in strict compliance with the endorsed Construction Management Guidelines while ensuring that projects adhere to the approved timeline, budget, and scope.
Leads project teams together in the development phase to establish the Project Scope, Budget, and timeline.
Performs preconstruction risk evaluations (PCRE) before commencing construction activities.
Ensures the proper and thorough execution of necessary infection control risk assessment (ICRA) procedures and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) to prevent infections.
Collaborates with the Infection Control, Facilities Management, and Safety Management Departments.
Ensures adherence to Field Observation Reports by reviewing documentation for compliance. Manages project records, which encompass items such as Approval Letters, Meeting Minutes, Project Scope Manual, Contract Papers, Specifications, Addenda, Change Orders, Requests for Information (RFI's), Shop Drawing Submissions, Bulletin Drawings, Payment Applications, and Closeout Records
Inspecting for adherence to contract specifications and quality standards during routine site visits is a key responsibility, along with maintaining updated As-Built Drawings and handling regular correspondence.
Keeps records and implements necessary changes through the utilization of Field Observation Reports.
Coordinates disruptive events that affect operations as part of project planning and execution. These may include utility outages, noise disturbances, vibrations, and dust emissions but are not restricted to these. Ensures disruptions are scheduled following established protocols.
Carries out projects in compliance with the guidelines set forth by various regulatory bodies such as JCAHO, DHSR, CMS, OSHA, State Health Department, and local/state building and fire codes

Driver's License/Valid Driver's License and ASHE's Health Care Construction Workshop must be obtained within 1 year of hire. This requirement will be waived if AHA, CHC, or CHFM credentials is in hand or obtained within 1 year of hire.
Preferred:
AHA Certified healthcare Constructor (CHC) or AHA Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)
