Overview:
The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for overseeing information security and regulatory compliance by overseeing the design, integration, and implementation of hardware and software systems. Duties include analyzing systems, creating technical requirements, documenting processes, monitoring system performance, enforcing cybersecurity protocols, managing system configurations, and implementing security patches and updates, while adhering to information security policies and practices. As a certified ethical hacker, one must examine the system architecture, identify vulnerabilities, conduct penetration tests, and provide recommendations for improving security measures, followed by compiling detailed reports on penetration test results and suggesting security enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Protecting information systems involves the identification and mitigation of both potential and existing security issues.
Safeguards the system by establishing access rights, regulating frameworks, and assets.
Identifying irregularities and reporting them helps in acknowledging issues and addressing them effectively.
Enhancing security by analyzing the present state, reviewing patterns, and predicting future needs.
Identifies breaches in security and operational inefficiencies through regular audit processes.
Enhance systems through the integration and upkeep of security measures.
Perform regular inspections on systems and conduct security evaluations; generate progress reports and relay system status updates.
Ensuring high standards are upheld through adherence to organizational protocols for service delivery.
Lead in the creation, upkeep, and execution of security measures and guidelines.
Conduct security meetings and actively participate in responding to incidents.
Offer strategic advice and specialized knowledge to the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) for effective decision-making
Conduct thorough internal and external penetration testing to evaluate the security of our computer systems. Explore the specific system configurations in use, detect vulnerabilities, and assess potential breach points.
Generate reports on penetration testing activities and offer recommendations for enhancing security measures.
Carries out additional tasks as required.

Required:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
